In February 6th 2010, SoA posted his article here.
In typical Shi’ee fashion, SoA quotes a narration in praise of Ali, regardless of how ridiculous or irrelevant the narration is:
and ibn masood said that holy prophet said that
“an angel came to me, and asked me to ask the prophets who had been before me as to why were they sent(mab’ooth)? i said “why were you sent?”
they replied
“on your wilayat and wilayat of ali bin abi talib”
We wish to show our readers that Imami Shia beliefs are completely contradictory to the teachings of the Qur’an and the spirit of Islam.
Ironically, the verse that this supposed narration is explaining is the following:
وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَنِ آَلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ
{And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped?} [43:45]
Al-Nisapuri, who happens to be SoA’s source comments, “But this does not fit (with the context) of Him saying: aja’alna.”
Truly, the verse speaks for itself. It is about denouncing polytheism. However, this false tradition suggests that it has to do with the wilayah of Ali, which is absurd, due to the reasons mentioned above. We advise SoA to be more careful with the fabrications that he shares on his site, since even fabrications differ in the level of believability.
